Hey, I’m Robin.
I’m here.
You’re here.
We’re all somewhere.
Being new asks questions we don’t always have language for. Being Black adds a few more — about visibility, about memory, about who gets to feel rooted and who is asked to keep moving.
You Are Here ATX is my personal exploration of what it means to belong in Austin—what feels possible, what feels complicated, and everything in between. Through essays, photos, and small moments from around the city, I’m choosing curiosity, presence, and staying with the questions a little longer.
Think of this as agentle invitation: wander through these essays, take what resonates, leave the rest, and maybe spark your own curiosity along the way.
I hope something resonates.
Robin
